1. Who we are
IntentionallyUs ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Vorentoo Ltd, trading as IntentionallyUs, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC549704. Our registered office is Office 729, 3 Fitzroy Place, 1/1 Sauchiehall Street, Finnieston, Scotland, G3 7RH.
We are the "controller" of your personal data under UK data protection law. Our ICO registration number is ZC253259.
Contact us at hello@intentionallyus.app with any privacy question.
2. What we collect
Account details. Your name, your partner's name, email addresses, and your anniversary date.
What you put into the app. Content you and your partner add to the shared space, across features such as Weekly Check-In, Vision Board, Finance Tracker, Trip Planner, Health Goals, Intimacy Moments, Family To-Dos, Date Ideas, Anniversary & Dates, Conflict Resolution and Gratitude Journal.
Some of this may reveal information about your health or your intimate life. UK law treats this as "special category" data, and we handle it with extra care (see section 4).
Payment details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
Referral information. If you joined through a coach, therapist or other partner, or through another couple's referral, we record which one, so the right price and referral credit apply.
Technical data. Basic device and browser data needed to run and secure the service and, if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use our website.
3. How we use it
- To create and run your account and shared space
- To take payment and manage your subscription and free trial
- To send service emails, such as your welcome email and your weekly check-in reminder
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it
- To understand how our website is used, if you accept analytics cookies
- To meet our legal obligations
4. Our legal bases
- Contract: to provide the service you signed up for.
- Explicit consent: for the special category content you choose to enter, such as health goals or intimacy notes. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting that content or closing your account.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure and improve it.
- Legal obligation: for tax and accounting records.
- Consent: for analytics cookies, if you choose to accept them.
5. Who can see your content
You and your partner can see the content in your shared space.
Partners (coaches, therapists, influencers) who referred you can see only that you signed up and referral counts. They cannot see anything you enter inside the app.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your content for advertising.
6. Who we share data with
We use trusted providers to run the service. They process data only on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication and back-end functions |
| Stripe | Payments and billing |
| Zoho | Sending service emails |
| Vercel | Website hosting |
| Google Analytics | Website analytics (only if you accept cookies) |
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
We may also share data where the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep for accounting and tax purposes, such as payment records.
You can delete your account yourself from Settings. Access ends immediately, and we permanently delete your content within 30 days. If you were referred by a coach, therapist or other partner, we keep one record with no personal details (which partner referred you, and the dates) so their figures stay accurate.
8. Your rights
Under UK law you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and object to certain uses. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@intentionallyus.app and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. If you accept, we also use analytics cookies. These help us see how people use our site so we can improve it, and they are provided by Google Analytics. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
10. Age
IntentionallyUs is for adults aged 18 and over.
11. Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email or in the app.
